УКРАЇНСЬКИЙ ДЕНЬ в САН ФРАНЦІСКО, присвячений 13-й річниці Незалежности України відбувся 24 серпня в Ґолден-Ґейт парку. Організатором була невтомна пані Марія Черепенко. Роль головного доповідача виконав почесний гість консул Валерій Гребенюк, в концерті виступили митці з Сан Франціско та околиць і творча група з Сакраменто.
UKRAINIAN DAY IN GOLDEN GATE PARK in San Francisco.
This celebration on August 24-th 2003 was dedicated to the 13-th anniversary
of Independence of Ukraine. The organizer was Maria Tcherepenko and the
main speaker was consul Valeriy Hrebenyuk. Artists from San Francisco and
Sacramento with the children’s dance ensemble “Sonechko”presented a wonderful
program. Maria Tcherepenko was organizer of the cultural program.
